As new parents, we had no experience with daycares. We are both working full time for the CF and needed a reliable and perfect place to leave our son without stressing every second. After visiting multiple places (1 daycare and a few day homes), we knew we were picking EW the second we walked in. We wanted a place that would be safe, educational, and close to home. We found what we were looking for and more with Exploring Wonders!

My daughter has been attending Exploring Wonders for the past 1.5 years and she loves it there. She started daycare at 5 months old and even though she was so young they made us feel comfortable from day one. The patience, warmth, care, and kindness they show the children is exceptional. They have a strong focus on open-ended play and teaching independence. My daughter always surprises me with new songs and skills she’s learned. I cannot say enough good things about them and highly recommend them.

Our son has been a part of Exploring Wonders since he was 13 months old. He has experienced excellent care in every program in the past 3 years. The staff plan activities that are geared toward developing each child’s cognitive, social, emotional, speech and fine and gross motor skills in age-appropriate ways. The staff are genuinely interested in the children and our son loves attending daycare and seeing his teachers. He has grown so much developmentally and socially from being with peers of similar age and being in a stimulating environment each day.

As parents, peace of mind when it comes to childcare is one of the most valuable things we can imagine. Exploring Wonders delivers exactly that. Right from day one, we’ve felt secure in knowing that when we drop our children off, they’ll be looked after with great kindness & care. Communication between daycare & home has always been easy & abundant, and the owners & staff are very open to conversation and new ideas. Each child is seen for who they are, and their individual interests are always considered, as well as the needs of the group. When we were looking for inclusive childcare for our son, we were thrilled by the way that he was welcomed with open arms & minds, and the support & encouragement he received every day. Our son started at Exploring Wonders when he turned one. We really appreciate the social and educational environment provided. There has been a focus on age- appropriate and play-based learning. He has been ushered through the age groups as he has grown, now joining the oldest class. We feel sure that he is spending his days in a safe and nurturing environment. So sure, that we signed up our daughter at 8 months old and she is thriving at Exploring Wonders, too!

Exploring Wonders has the most amazing staff. I have always felt that they cared for my kids as much as I did. My kids have loved each teacher in each room, and we have always called it school. My kids have learned so much from the early childcare educators and the programming at Exploring Wonders. We didn't put our oldest in little steps because he was already getting quality education at Exploring Wonders. The centre is bright, clean, cheerful, and safe. Communication is amazing. Staff will contact me to clarify any of my overbearing mom instructions or remind me when I forgot to bring something. And the "HiMama" app is so great for knowing what the kids ate, and how long they slept. My children have thrived at Exploring Wonders. And I am so thankful for this childcare centre and the amazing staff that keep it running!
